The Naadam Festival is the biggest annual traditional Mongolian celebration, which is held most spectacularly in summer when the grass is green and the livestock are strong.

Inner Mongolia has a temperate continental climate with low and irregular rainfall and drastic shifts of temperature.

Spring (April to June) is windy and temperatures can rise unexpectedly.

Summer (July to August) is warm and short, with most of Inner Mongolia's modest rainfall.

Temperatures in autumn (September to October) drop sharply with frosts.

Winter (November to March) is long and freezing cold with the average monthly temperatures ranging from -12°C to -1°C (12–33°F).

As the temperature difference is large between morning and evening in the grasslands and desert areas, please bring warm coats, trousers, and walking boots when you visit there.

With its relatively high elevation, Inner Mongolian has strong ultraviolet rays. Please bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock with you.

In the popular tourist cities of Hohhot, Baotou, Ordos, and Hailar, there are plenty of choices of hotels, from international brands to local-standard ones.

In the different grasslands, many kinds of Mongolian yurt are available. For experiencing a nomads' life, we will only arrange a traditional Mongolian yurt with the best available facilities and quality.
