We had a wonderful time visiting the Beijing Zoo and the Great Wall with our guide Paul! He was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable and took exceptionally good care of us. We enjoyed conversing with him and learning about life in Beijing as well as the history of the Great Wall. He was also helpful in finding us food to fit my dietary needs which I appreciated. Everything about our trip has been smooth and we had such good fun. I would absolutely recommend China Highlights and Paul for their professionalism!

Helen was a wonderful tour guide; she had great knowledge, passion and dedication to ensuring we had a really fun tour and time to explore Beijing! She was very sweet and flexible! Jerry was an outstanding guide in Xi'an. We were very comfortable with Jerry and discussed our families, upbringings, and differences in culture. We invited Jerry to visit us in America which would be a great honor for us to host him and his family. We strongly recommend Jerry as a guide to anybody who would like to know more about Chinese culture in Xi'an.

Just had a short stay in Xian but our guide, Li Ying, enabled us to make the most of our time here, seeing the Terracotta Warriors and other main sights. Even managed a cycle ride on the city walls after enjoying a lovely meal of steamed dumplings. Everything was so well organised.

We spent 2 days in Xi’an with Sherry. It is such an amazing city filled with history and culture. On top of that the dishes that Sherry has introduced to us that are very unique in Xi’an are very delicious. Overall, not only were our eyes full with the wonderful architecture but also our stomachs were filled with mouth watering food. Definitely a must visit city.

The activities were carefully picked, some of them were obvious like the things you have to see (Forbidden City, Great Wall, Panda bears...), but even these involved good choices by the guides of exactly where to go inside a massive site. We saw a lot of panda bears! The guides were super knowledgeable in the history and culture, and we learned so much more from their contribution than if we just went and looked at old (beautiful) buildings. ?

Our guide Evan was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the places we visited in and around Chengdu, as well as about Chinese history and Buddhism. He was also adept at navigating the complexities of crowds, hot weather, and ticket lines. He knew the best places to go at the Panda center, so we saw a lot of pandas even on a hot day.He still remained in contact, helped us see a Sichuan opera, and offered useful advice to us. Evan was really top as a guide and just a great guy to hang out with, and thanks also to Ellen at China Highlights who expertly organized the whole tour.

Our guide, Fi Fi, was so much fun, so enthusiastic, so accommodating and packed so much into our limited time. She made the whole day special.

Guilin- our guide was Lele - Lele had the best command of English, very knowledgable and gave us a great understanding of the history of each location. You can tell Lele really cares about each clients experience in China. Request Lele if you can! We loved our time with Lele and working with China Highlights! About Guilin tour Lele arranged for Liu ShanJie show which was remarkable.Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo was on the 4 star boat. Yangshuo and Guilin were excellent stays.so was riding E-bike in the country side. Thank you for an amazing trip we will be using China Highlights again for sure!

Spent 3 days in Guilin and Yangshao with Chase as our guide. Highly recommend this location specifically Yangshuo. Sightseeing in the country side is highly recommended as well. Chase was great and made sure we are comfortable throughout the trip, helping with an upgrade in Yangshuo and making our trip memorable.

We utilized China Highlights during the first three legs of our vacation.Lele was our second guide and he greeted us upon arrival in Guilin. His enthusiasm and happy go lucky attitude was clear right away. He gave us a short introduction to our itinerary during our drive to the hotel, as well as some history about Guilin and Yangshuo county, that we would be staying in for the next few days.Lele was knowledgeable and FUN to be with. He had answers to our questions and brought us to some of the best view points Yangshuo had to offer. All though we didn't have bamboo rafting included in our itinerary, we quickly realized that we wanted to do this after all. Lele didn't hesitate to facilitate this into our already planned schedule and got us reservations for the following day.

Gelek is a local guide with excellent tibetan buddhism knowledge and wide local social network. Coupled with attention to details and dedication to his service and work, he is probably the best english speaking tibetan tour guide one can get!

We had a great time in Lhasa and had a wonderful guide Mary who showed us many highlights of Tibet culture and life. Our favourite part was spending the day at the lake!

Our stay in Tibet was fantastic thanks to the kindness of Tashi, our guide, who accompanied us and showed us the wonders of his land. I recommend Tashi to everyone who wants to have an unforgettable experience in Tibet.

Mr. Dorjee is very knowledgeable and we can feel his passion about his job.Our questions were always answered and explained elaborately and make us understand the Tibet history more. He is also very friendly and helpful, and took great photos of us and knows all of the great photo spots.

Our guide Brenda spoke fluent English. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Thanks to her explanations, we had a memorable two-day trip to Suzhou and Tongli water towns.

Our guide, Brenda with China Highlights, really made our experience unforgettable even though we were only there for a short bit of time. Brenda was really knowledgeable and helpful in telling us where to find food nearby the hotel.She took us to the water town of Tongli, and shared so much of its history as well as the history of Suzhou. She also had great conversations with us -- topics ranging from the transformation of Suzhou to how the economy in China.

Ryan from #chinahighlights was my guide beginning in Shanghai when I landed the day before. He had a huge bouquet of flowers from China Highlights company for me when I arrived at the Shanghai airport. Next We went to Humble Administrators Garden which was already inundated with throngs of Chinese Tourists and visitors. It was a super lovely day so I don't blame them for visiting! I was wearing my own Han Fu dress so I felt very much at home because that's what the girls and women do, go to these places for photos! This garden despite all the people was super great. The features and layout including bonsai. Especially Azalea, we're stunning. Clean and neat. Worth your time anyway you cut it. Next was the smaller The Garden of The Master of Nets. Along the way Ryan explained some of the history and features of these places as we went along. Somehow both these gardens merged in my mind! I love Gardens, so I could go to these places daily! Finally, we drove to Tongli Old Town. Another places where girls and women dress up for outings and pictures. I wish I saw more men indulging! Lovely little town, I loved the layout and feeling like I had time travelled. The little boat cruise was jumping again with Chinese visitors and tourists. I really felt happy that they were out enjoying themselves after the recent past.... After the boat Ryan took me to Pingjuang Road, which is mostly a pedestrian street. He mentioned the Film Industry and showed me a monument and street tiles for all the movies that had been made there. A light lunch and walked back out of the area to the parking lot area where we began. A super lovely day with No Hassles!

We had another amazing tour with China Highlights. Cultural tour to Suzhou was so informative and fun with our amazing guide Mr Lin and our wonderful Wendy who brought us together. Many thanks to both of you! Looking forward to our next adventure.

Alvin, who went above and beyond to show us the "real" China. We felt like Alvins' personal guests the entire trip. He didn't push any purchases or store visits on us and stayed out late with us one evening for dinner. Our driver was also incredibly punctual, friendly and reliable and he and Alvin were a great team.

Kudos to Eileen for being so knowledgeable and kind to show us the best Zhangjiajie has to offer. She navigated the trails and our schedule expertly as to accomodate changes in weather and the availability of the areas we wanted to visit. Our experience in Zhangjiajie wouldn't have been so great without her!

We were with Eileen on our Zhangjiajie trip and it was amazing. She made the Zhangjiajie trip an unforgettable experience. She knows a lot of secret passages that will lead you to the secret gems of this place. She’s also very vibrant which brings the group dynamic into this wonderful vibe. Overall, our Zhangjiajie trip will not be as great as it is if not for her. Xie xie Eileen!

Sara was perfect, knowledgeable, attentive but above all absolutely great , local people! There is nothing that can be better than exploring a country with a local! Nothing!We owe them a once in a lifetime level of experience.

Our guide, Eileen, was fantastic, especially as our time there began with a 3 hour flight delay that meant we arrived after midnight. Eileen was also great at Tianmen mountain - both parks are big and there are many paths, but we felt we saw the best of each. She was also good about arranging delicious vegetarian meals for me at local restuarants.

Visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a great experience but also come with a little risk of altitude sickness. Our guide Alice has taken good care of us for the whole journey. Truly a memorable trip!

My guide for all days was Lobsang. I stayed in Old Town, Shangri La, and with the guidance of Lobsang, was able to see many sights and learn much about local customs. This was true for the sight-seeing we accomplished outside of the cities. Lobsang answered any question that I asked and is a fountain of knowledge about the area, the people, the history, Buddhism, and so on.

First time visiting Dali and I had a great guide in Alice Liu. I learnt so much about Dali and the local Bai people's customs and culture from her. She is cheerful and always eager to share her knowledge. In addition, she took good care of my family during our time in Dali.

Together with driver Ms. Guo, my guide May took me over two days to see some of the essential places in Kunming.I was extremely pleased by how thoughtfully planned everyhting was - all I had to do was show up! May would not only bring some snacks and water for the trip, but also spontaneously bought a recommended snack when she saw a stall along the way. Her recommendations were spot on for me, even at lunch, as she catered to my fussy diet inclusions of having no bones and seafood other than fish. Every meal was elicious and hefty, and centred around the delightful cuisine in this region.At the attractions, I was pleased by how much May knew of the places I went, and her nuggets of trivia and history added so much to my travel.

We have a great trip in Yunnan, thanks to the organization of China Highlights and to the guide that support us in Dali (Lee), Lijiang (Peter) and Shangri-la (Tenzin)

Our guides met all our expectations are more, Dylan in Kunming took us to see the Stone Forest and knew exactly where to go to avoid the crowds! Frank in Dali had a true passion for the outdoors, the flora, fauna, mushrooms and shared this passion with us as we discovered the mountains and temples of Dali. Eleanor in Lijiang shared her love of the Naxi as we explored the snow capped mountains, parks and ancient towns. And a special shout out for Betsy in Shangri-La who introduced us to Tibetan buddhism and culture, met us at the Leaping Tiger gorge and took us to amazing lakes, temple's and monestries. Betsy was also great at suggesting what we should do in the evenings, pointing out great restaurants and ensuring we were well looked after.

Excellent experience booking our trip to Yunnan. Our second time using China/Asia Highlights to book our trip to China. Alisa Liu was prompt with her responses. She placed much attention on tailoring the trip to the needs of our 3-generation family. We did a total of 9 revisions in 10 days! We're very happy with the itinerary. Looking forward to the trip

Our guide Tony is exceptionally experience and is very professional in guiding us. He explains the history of huangshan in a very detailed and easily digestible manner. 10/10 recommend this guide. He brings us to hidden gems area to take beautiful photos as well. His english proficiency is excellent.

Our guide April made our trip in Huangshan most memorable. She was enthusiastic in showing us sunrise from the mountain peak which was beautiful, more challenging paths for us to trek with spectacular views. Her knowledge of the local flora and fauna was impressive.

Many thanks to our excellent and highly experienced tour guide, Alvin, for showing us some of the most spectacular sites to visit in Huangshan and sharing insights into their local culture and history. Alvin very kindly catered for all our needs and answered any of our questions, including teaching us some Chinese!Throughout the trip, Alvin understood our needs well, was flexible with timing, and carefully organised our schedule such that we had plenty of time to enjoy Huangshan and still catch our transport.

We did a day trip to Hangzhou and visited various attractions such as Linyin temple, Xi hu, Cheng huang pavillion and qin he fang pedestrian street. Our guide is Derek and he is very professional and very knowledgeable in the history and culture of Hangzhou. He explained to us throughly and allow us to understand the culture and history of Hangzhou. 10/10 will recommend Derek

But the China Highlights and the great guide Derek made it possible and a real experience. We reasonably combined the temples, White Snake Legend, West Lake cruise with a great lunch experience, tea museum etc. Special thanks to Derek who perfectly managed our needs beeing very nice, just like we wished it to be. Highly recommend.

My guide was Leaf . She is a warm hearted girl with a bubbly personality. Her English is very good. Furthermore Leaf showed me the way Chinese people live their daily lives.We enjoyed afternoon coffee in a very popular coffee shop. We talked about almost everything. It really felt like talking to a friend.
