With more than 1000 Dong houses, its drum tower complex is considered the largest in China. Have a lunch and dinner in one of the original restaurants in Zhaoxing Dong Village.

Today you will be transferred to Congjiang from Zhaoxing. Experience Dong minority custom at Tang'an Dong Village, a village built on a steep mountain slope and surrounded by terraced paddy fields. Visit Basha Village, an original Miao Village in Congjiang in Southeastern Guizhou Province. Experience local Miao people's traditions dating back to the Qing Dynasty (around 2200 years ago).

Chejiang Dong Village-a concentration of several hundred Dong households mostly have the same family name-Yang. Nearly all people there can sing local folk songs.

3 days in Guilin/Yangshuo
Spent 3 days in Guilin and Yangshao with Chase as our guide. Highly recommend this location specifically Yangshuo. Sightseeing in the country side is highly recommended as well. Chase was great and made sure we are comfortable throughout the trip, helping with an upgrade in Yangshuo and making our trip memorable. more

China Highlights - Yangshuo and the best tour guide Lele!
We utilized China Highlights during the first three legs of our vacation.Lele was our second guide and he greeted us upon arrival in Guilin. His enthusiasm and happy go lucky attitude was clear right away. He gave us a short introduction to our itinerary during our drive to the hotel, as well as some history about Guilin and Yangshuo county, that we would be staying in for the next few days.Lele was knowledgeable and FUN to be with. He had answers to our questions and brought us to some of the best view points Yangshuo had to offer. All though we didn't have bamboo rafting included in our itinerary, we quickly realized that we wanted to do this after all. Lele didn't hesitate to facilitate this into our already planned schedule and got us reservations for the following day. more
