Your personal guide and driver will meet you and your family at the airport, and transfer you to your hotel in a non-smoking private vehicle, making sure your holiday gets off to a smooth start. Your guide will help you check-in.
In the morning, after seeing Tian'anmen Square, discover the Forbidden City. Besides the six main palaces on its axis, we have specially chosen some places that interest kids. Play a game as you learn more about the nine sons of the dragon and the four auspicious beasts represented in Forbidden City architecture.
Relish lunch at a top Beijing roast duck restaurant, renowned globally for its tender red meat and unique, non-greasy texture.
Next, visit a traditional courtyard to experience the traditional lifestyle in the hutongs. Children can learn Chinese calligraphy, play with Chinese yo-yos, and taste traditional sweets.
Visit the Temple of Heaven in the morning, where emperors of old prayed for a good harvest, and where local people now do morning exercises. Lots of elderly local people meet there daily to sing, exercise, and do tai chi..
In the afternoon, we'll take you to the less-crowded Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, where a cable car offers a comfortable ascent to stunning views from the wall's watchtowers. Embark on a thrilling toboggan ride down (when the weather is good), enhancing this unforgettable family-friendly experience.
Spend the morning relaxing in the Summer Palace, which consists of gardens and lakes. Take a boat ride across a lake and explore the Garden of Virtue and Harmony to take you further into China's history.
Later in the day we will take you to the train station for your bullet train to Xi'an, escorting you all the way to the boarding gate.
Upon arrival, you will be met at the arrival gate by your tour guide, and transferred to your hotel by a private vehicle and driver.
Experience with your children's archeology comes to life in the form of the Terracotta Army, stood in arrays in the underground pits where they were found. An interesting museum and film deepens the experience. Unravel the mysteries surrounding these figures with our knowledgeable guides.

Shanghai is a collision of new and old. Visit the new part of Shanghai in the morning. Ascend to the 118th-floor observation deck of Shanghai Tower, the world's second-tallest building, for a panoramic view of the city.

In the afternoon, travel back in time to the old part of Shanghai: the famous Yuyuan Garden that was built during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644).
The market street near Yuyuan Garden is an exciting experience, where crowds of people buy local snacks, handicrafts, antiques, and souvenirs.
