An amazing experience in Beijing !
We had a wonderful time visiting the Beijing Zoo and the Great Wall with our guide Paul! He was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable and took exceptionally good care of us. We enjoyed conversing with him and learning about life in Beijing as well as the history of the Great Wall. He was also helpful in finding us food to fit my dietary needs which I appreciated. Your private tour guide will wait for you in the arrivals hall, holding your name on a placard and a China Highlights sign. Don't worry if you are late. Your private tour means you don't need to fit in with others' plans, and your guide will be waiting there till you show up. The journey from Tianjin Cruise Port to Beijing city center is about 2½ hours.
Feel the spirit of China in Tian'anmen Square with the help of your guide's expert insights. Your guide will help you find the best places to take photos.
Be amazed at Beijing's spectacular former imperial palace. The Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties (1420–1912). This "city within a city" is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial architectural complex in the world.
The Mutianyu Great Wall is about 2½ hours' drive from downtown Beijing.
In order to save your time and your energy, we will arrange a cable car to take you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watchtowers, and enjoy superb views of the wall snaking along the mountain ridges to the distance.
Your personal guide will walk with you on the Wall to give you historical information, and to help you take photos with the Wall. You will have some free time to walk around after that.
The transfer back to Tianjin Cruise Port is included and you will arrive at the port at about 4pm. If you need to arrive earlier, your guide will be happy to adjust the timing according to your need.
